It might be as well to point out that anyone defacing these signs (which we don’t condone) will need to be aware that cameras will likely be trained on them, so they may wish to don some disguise out of camera-shot before and after the event, paying attention to the fact that people entering and leaving such blind spot may be looked at, unless a group were to enter then leave at the same time. Just a thought!

Dear ‘ No to the Parking Tax Campaign’,
After being late to work twice as a result of your protests at Trafalgar Square in the mornings, I am writing to let you know that your actions have a negative effect on many people outside of your campaign. Although I do not disagree with your campaign, as a bus rider I observe that the largest amount of people affected by your snarling of traffic around Trafalgar Square are bus riders. As I am not allowed to vote on your issue, nor do I have enough money to buy a motorcycle to get to work easily and on time, I would ask that you please take your protest somewhere else that will not effect a great deal of bus riders’ commute to work.
    Thank You

C.O.L have removed a third of the bike parking bay (15 bikes) from our road – email the below..

    christopher.mead@cityoflondon.gov.uk,peter.rees@cityoflondon.gov.uk,

    Peter / Christopher,

I used to be able to park my bike on Lloyds Avenue.

Why is that no longer the case?

Why have you reduced the parking bays without consulting the bikers?

Given the government’s drive for a cleaner greener London how do you feel that the cynical removal of bike parking bays which are significantly more CO2 efficient for revenue generating car parking bays will go down in the press?

Do you think you will be ostracised and ridiculed?

    Something to consider..

Look forward to hearing from you.
